1. Scope and contact

This policy covers the AudioFlip macOS app and the privacy and support pages on audioflip.app. AudioFlip is developed by Florian Kall.

2. Data handled by the app

AudioFlip does not collect or transmit personal data to us or to third-party analytics or advertising services. It does not require an account and contains no tracking technology.

The app reads the audio devices that macOS makes available so it can display them and change the selected input or output. AudioFlip does not record, inspect, or transmit audio.

Your settings are stored locally in the app’s macOS container. They can include:

  • favorite input and output devices;
  • global and device-specific keyboard shortcuts;
  • interface and notification preferences; and
  • local device identifiers needed to reconnect shortcuts with the devices you selected.

These settings remain on your Mac and are not sent to AudioFlip.

3. Purchases, downloads, and updates

For the Mac App Store version, Apple processes purchases, downloads, updates, and any information you choose to share with Apple. AudioFlip does not receive your payment card details. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. These website pages

The privacy and support pages do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising scripts, cookies, or browser storage. Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp when technically necessary to deliver and protect the site.

Do not send sensitive personal information in a support email. If you contact us, we use the message and your email address only to respond and maintain the support conversation.

5. Your choices

Because AudioFlip has no account or server-side user profile, there is no account data to access or delete. You can change your local preferences in AudioFlip Settings. You can also contact us to request deletion of a support conversation, subject to any legal retention obligations.

6. Changes to this policy

If AudioFlip’s data practices change, this page and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before the change applies. The effective date above identifies the current version.

2. Von der App verarbeitete Daten

AudioFlip erhebt oder übermittelt keine personenbezogenen Daten an uns oder an Analyse- bzw. Werbedienste. Die App benötigt kein Konto und enthält keine Tracking-Technik.

Die App liest die Audiogeräte aus, die macOS bereitstellt, damit sie angezeigt und als Ein- oder Ausgabe ausgewählt werden können. AudioFlip zeichnet keine Audiosignale auf, untersucht sie nicht und überträgt sie nicht.

Deine Einstellungen werden lokal im macOS-Container der App gespeichert. Dazu können gehören:

  • favorisierte Ein- und Ausgabegeräte;
  • globale und gerätespezifische Tastenkürzel;
  • Darstellungs- und Benachrichtigungseinstellungen; sowie
  • lokale Gerätekennungen, die deine gewählten Tastenkürzel wieder den passenden Geräten zuordnen.

Diese Einstellungen bleiben auf deinem Mac und werden nicht an AudioFlip gesendet.

3. Käufe, Downloads und Updates

Bei der Mac-App-Store-Version verarbeitet Apple Käufe, Downloads, Updates und alle Informationen, die du freiwillig mit Apple teilst. AudioFlip erhält keine Zahlungs- oder Kreditkartendaten. Für diese Verarbeitung gilt die Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple.

4. Diese Website-Seiten

Die Datenschutz- und Supportseiten verwenden keine Analysewerkzeuge, Tracking-Pixel, Werbeskripte, Cookies oder Browser-Speicher. Wie bei den meisten Websites kann die Hosting-Infrastruktur technisch erforderliche Anfrageinformationen wie IP-Adresse, Browsertyp, aufgerufene Seite und Zeitpunkt verarbeiten, um die Website auszuliefern und zu schützen.

Bitte sende in einer Support-E-Mail keine sensiblen personenbezogenen Daten. Wenn du uns kontaktierst, verwenden wir deine Nachricht und E-Mail-Adresse nur, um zu antworten und die Support-Kommunikation fortzuführen.

5. Deine Möglichkeiten

Da AudioFlip weder ein Konto noch ein serverseitiges Nutzerprofil führt, gibt es keine Kontodaten, die abgerufen oder gelöscht werden müssten. Lokale Einstellungen kannst du in den AudioFlip-Einstellungen ändern. Du kannst uns außerdem bitten, eine Support-Konversation zu löschen, soweit keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten entgegenstehen.

6. Änderungen dieser Erklärung

Sollte sich die Datenverarbeitung von AudioFlip ändern, werden diese Seite und die Datenschutzangaben im App Store aktualisiert, bevor die Änderung gilt. Das oben genannte Datum kennzeichnet die aktuelle Fassung.
